Paralegal assists with a contract

What is a Paralegal and what can a Paralegal do for you?

In the Province of Ontario, paralegals are legal professionals who are licensed by the Law Society of Ontario to supply specific legal services including providing legal advice and representation for clients in some Courts such as small claims court, provincial offences court for traffic offences and minor criminal offences, and administrative tribunals such as the Landlord and Tenant Board.

That means that licensed paralegals in Ontario do not need to be supervised by a lawyer to supply such legal services to you. Generally, this comes as a cost savings to the client.

At MacDonald, Charette & Associates we have a paralegal and lawyers who can assist you in legal matters. Jessica Polley is our Paralegal and she works with the support of our lawyers. Contact MacDonald, Charette & Associates to book an appointment with Jessica for assistance with your paralegal matter.
